(They/Them/She/Her)

The gestalt therapeutic process is a creative journey where the therapist’s support and presence invite you to explore what is most meaningful in your life, including what feels painful or difficult. I hope to support you to more fully trust and listen to your inner knowing, and to find more space to experiment with new approaches to what might feel like old or stuck patterns in your relationships and your engagement with the world.

Before pursuing training as a gestalt psychotherapist, I worked in the cultural sector as a dancer and choreographer. I have experience with a range of somatic healing and mindfulness modalities while my lived experience as an artist, activist and cultural worker ground my approach to therapy. My orientation is process-led, collaborative and non-pathologizing and I commit to meeting you where you are with compassion, non-judgement, curiosity and creativity. I believe that healing and justice are interwoven and that our personal quest for increased self-knowledge, agency and joy deeply impacts our own lives while also creating meaningful ripples in our families (both blood and chosen) and in our communities.

We will discover our path together, and while it may not be a fast or linear process, I believe that the journey itself can offer many gifts including deeper self-awareness, a sense of spontaneity and aliveness, and clarity and agency in relationships.

I bring techniques drawn from somatics, mindfulness and art therapy to support my clients. Areas of specialty: life transitions, relationships, creative blocks, 2SLGBTQAI+ (especially nonbinary, coming out late, queer family making), infertility, parenting, art and activism, grief, chronic pain, addiction, harm reduction.

I am also a facilitator of the Resilience Toolkit, a trauma-informed approach to stress reduction and capacity building. The Toolkit can support clients in their relational psychotherapy process or can be arranged as a separate offering for individuals and groups.
