(She/Her Pronouns)

I’ve been supporting children and families, and providing therapy, coaching, training, and consultation to youngsters, and their caregivers and educators across the GTA for over 20 years. I have extensive experience and great interest in working with clients with a range of challenges. My psychotherapy practice incorporates strengths-based, relational approaches, with openness and great respect for diversity.

I’m passionate about working with adults and children that might be struggling and looking for support in the following areas:

  • Stress & anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem & confidence
  • Interpersonal relationships
  • Attachment
  • Childhood trauma
  • Emotional regulation
  • Anger management
  • Parenting
  • Self-care
  • ADHD
  • Grief & Loss
  • Feeling stuck
  • Life transitions
  • Self-harm
  • Inter-generational trauma

I want the clients with whom I meet to feel heard, validated, and understood. I take a client-centered, trauma-informed approach, preferring to integrate a combination of therapeutic modalities in a manner that best supports each individual’s unique goals and objectives. Some of the therapeutic approaches that I employ include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Applied Behavioural Analysis.

Having completed my internship with The Healing Collective’s clinical director, Abby Rozen, I’m thrilled to be joining the Collective as a practitioner. I remain dedicated to empowering clients in areas of self-growth, renewed hope, and rediscovered resiliency.

I’m currently working with clients over the phone or via secure video conferencing.

My rate is $140 for 50 minutes and I have a limited number of sliding scale spots available. I invite you to contact me at ariella.folman@gmail.com to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation.
