(She/Her Pronouns)

Thanks for reaching out! It’s often the hardest step. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’ve tried it before, I’m glad you found your way here.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience. My specialty is working with people who have experienced trauma or who have had difficult childhoods. Many of my clients experience depression or anxiety which makes it challenging to feel secure in themselves or in relationships. It’s important to me that you feel safe and in control of our counselling sessions. I go at your pace and check in frequently to make sure we’re working on the things you want to work on. At the end of counselling, my goal is to help you feel that there have been positive shifts in your ability to trust your intuition and connect with others.

My practice is client-centred, feminist, anti-oppressive, and intersectional. I welcome clients from all gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, cultures, and abilities. I am comfortable discussing subjects such as substance use, self-harm, suicide, abuse, discrimination, disassociation, flashbacks, DID, grief, sex, and non-traditional relationships. I offer an integrative practice, borrowing from multiple therapeutic modalities including EMDR, Attachment and Emotion Focused Therapies, Cognitive and Dialectical Behaviour Therapies (CBT/DBT), and Narrative, Somatic, and Mindfulness Based Therapies. When I’m not at the Healing Collective, I provide counselling through the Jean Tweed Centre, a substance use centre for women.

My rate is $170 (HST inclusive) for 1-hour counselling sessions. I offer free 20 minute consultations. Please feel free to contact me for more information at LauraLevinTherapy@outlook.com  or visit my website at www.lauralevintherapy.com.  I look forward to meeting you!
