About Me:
I am a Registered Social Worker with over 10 years of experience, providing social work and counselling internationally for diverse people of all ages. I work from client-centered, intersectional, 2SLGBTQ+ inclusive, and anti-oppressive frameworks. I am comfortable talking about a variety of sensitive topics, including but not limited to deep emotional issues, trauma, racial issues, spirituality, sex, and relationship struggles. My goal is to provide a safe space where we can build trust and connection. It is important for me to help you empower yourself to overcome your challenges, embrace vulnerabilities, and heal pain through gradual steps toward understanding your emotions.
My Approach:
I truly value drawing perspective from your individual background in order to elicit your strengths and bring lasting, meaningful changes in your life. Therapy modalities I use are: Dialectical/Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (DBT/CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma informed approach, Motivational Interviewing and Expressive Art.

Outside of my private practice, I work as an Individual & Family Therapist at Lumenus Community Services, and I also work as a digital CBT therapist at MindBeacon. In my free time I love immersing myself in nature while walking or picnicking.
I currently work out of The Healing Collective on Friday evenings. My rate is $150/50 minutes for individuals, and $180/50 minutes for families. In addition, I offer free 20 minute initial consultations. I am currently offering sessions via secure video conferencing.
