(She/Her Pronouns)
Hi and welcome!
I’m Melody and I am an experienced Social Worker and Psychotherapist, having worked in a variety of clinical and community settings over the past decade.
I am committed to providing services that are client-centered, flexible, and collaborative, working alongside clients in developing strategies to reach their goals and improve their well-being. I strive to bring clients’ strengths and resilience to the forefront of our work together. I use a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive framework to guide my clinical practice, acknowledging the systemic issues and intersecting identities that impact client experiences.
The therapeutic techniques I most often integrate into my practice include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative, Solutions-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Practices.
