About Me
I have over 5 years of experience working within the mental health field supporting children, teenagers, and parents. I have collaborated with individuals with developmental disabilities and have supported individuals diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, depression, to name a few. As a registered psychotherapist I value the importance of practising empathy, transparency, and cultural humility in working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My Approach
My approach is to personalize our sessions which embrace your identity and unique needs and recognizing the challenges encountered in your life. Infusing empathy, curiosity, and a safe space for growth and exploration, while also ensuring to incorporate an anti-oppressive, and trauma informed lens in our work together. My approach combines a therapeutic alliance and a collaborative relationship with you so you can attain your desired future. I always remind my clients that they are the experts of their lives.“I am simply here to help you put together the pieces of your life. So, it allows you to see things more clearly. So, you can create the rest of the picture you want in your life”.
Availability
I have open availability and see clients in person at The Healing Collective, and online for virtual therapy. I see clients on Sundays from 12-6 and Monday afternoons, with some other availability throughout the week.
I have a limited amount of sliding scale spots available in my practice. Please be in touch via email or through The Healing Collective to connect for a complimentary 20 minute consultation to ensure we’re a good fit.
