ABOUT SOUND THERAPY
My name is Robin Sone and I am a certified Sound Therapy Practitioner. Inspired by some exciting contemporary scientific research, and my own personal experience of sound therapy’s profound effects, I was drawn to explore this fascinating healing modality further. Science has revealed that the human body is a vibrational entity. Each cell in your body has a frequency signature. When these vibrational frequencies are received back into your body through sound they can entrain, recalibrate, & balance.
Sound therapy works gently to return the body’s own vibrations to their natural state
In my practice I use sound vibrations created by a variety of instruments, tuning forks, crystal & Tibetan bowls, drums and vocal toning to help balance the mind & body and promote health. Each session is unique to that individual. They are deeply relaxing and bring about a calming, meditative state that assists with healing. Whether you have a particular area that you wish to focus upon, or just want to have a general sound treatment and let the vibrations go to where they are most needed, sound therapy is here to help you.
Benefits of sound therapy include
- Stress reduction and relaxation
- Increased mental clarity
- Relief from insomnia
- Pain management
- Reduced anxiety and depression
- Supported immune system
- Improvement in overall mood & patience level
I also offer Group sound sessions (Group Sound Baths) which are a wonderful way for a group of people to experience the relaxation, stress reduction and feeling of peace & tranquility that sound vibrations provide. It is an immersive experience using sound to help bring relaxation and a meditative calming effect. Many participants report improvement in their overall mood and patience level. Others enjoy greater mental clarity and decision-making ability following a sound bath. Participants have also said that they slept much better that night.
I have studied under the guidance of master Sound Therapy specialists at both the Institute of Traditional Medicine and the College of Transformational Arts. Other completed training includes work specifically focusing on the use of Tibetan bowls and Biofield Tuning with Solfeggio tuning forks (as developed by Eileen Day McKusick, M.A). I was fortunate to have Eileen Day McKusick herself as my teacher for this particular training. I am also a musician and vocalist & have been studying and exploring intuitive insights, vibrational healing and subtle energy since 2003.
