(She/Her Pronouns)

There are times we may feel that we are losing hope, lacking resilience, overwhelmed by our feelings, or unsure which step to take next. It can take courage to reach out for help and open up to another person. My role as a social worker and psychotherapist is to meet you where you are and guide you through this process.

I offer individual and family therapy and work with children, adolescents, and adults. My clients seek support in many areas including parenting, emotion regulation, anxiety, depression, communication, self-esteem, and more. My practice is collaborative and all are welcome.

I use a number of therapeutic approaches to help my clients meet their goals. This includes understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and developing strategies to manage strong emotions (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy). I help my clients explore the stories they tell about themselves and identify and follow their chosen path (Narrative and Solution Focused Therapy). Sometimes this work includes understanding and processing where we have come from and how this impacts us in our day to day life (Attachment and Emotion Focused Therapies).

Outside of private practice, I have worked as a School Social Worker at the Toronto District School Board and previously held the position of Child and Family Therapist at SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health. In my free time I love to play outside with my daughter, read and discuss books, crochet, and wish I was better at doing yoga regularly.
