Pronouns: She/her
Life is stressful, especially if you care deeply about the wellbeing of people, relationships, or the world around you. That capacity for care can come with overwhelm, anxiety, or the activation of old patterns and emotional injuries. Many of my clients are helpers or highly responsible people who grew up holding a lot—through childhood trauma, neurodivergence, or unfair demands. They cope through perfectionism, people-pleasing, avoidance, worry, or self-criticism—habits that once helped them get through hard things but now undermine their well-being and goals. They’re ready to try a new way of being.
I offer a space where you can talk without holding back, experience compassion, and tell new stories of resistance and joy. My insight, feedback, and knowledge help to free you from imposed rules and your harsh inner voice. Together we’ll process feelings, build more helpful thinking habits, and learn ways to steady your nervous system.
It’s not always easy to understand what’s happened to you, respond to collective pain and injustice, or accept yourself as you are. I don’t have all the answers, but I know these things are easier to navigate with support. If this resonates, I invite you to reach out for a no-obligation consultation.
Professional Background
I draw from over twenty years in community services working in harm reduction, anti-violence, and community development. I have worked with many equity-seeking groups and helped clients to navigate deeply flawed systems. I translate the skills of a social justice-based facilitator, educator, and curriculum developer to group and individual therapy. Together with my clients, I collaboratively innovate new directions for uncovering patterns and building new skills. However, I value the therapeutic relationship most of all: warmth, non-judgement, kindness. I care about you whether you succeed or struggle.
