With over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples, I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate, & non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, & supported. Together, we will explore the challenges you are facing, identify barriers to your well-being, & develop practical strategies to help you move forward with greater confidence & resilience.

You may be seeking therapy because you are feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or depression, or because you are navigating a significant life transition. I also support clients experiencing grief & loss, relationship challenges, sexual orientation & identity concerns, sexual dysfunction, substance use, & other life difficulties. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to work collaboratively with you to help you regain balance, strengthen your coping skills, & improve your overall quality of life.

My practice is grounded in a person-centred approach, recognizing that every individual has unique experiences, strengths, & goals. I tailor therapy to reflect your personal values, lifestyle, & circumstances, drawing on evidence-based approaches to develop solutions that are meaningful & sustainable for you.

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with both Master of Social Work (MSW) & Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degrees. My advanced training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, Trauma Counselling, Motivational Interviewing, & Interpersonal Mediation. I also offer faith-informed psychotherapy for Muslim clients who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process.

My professional perspective has been shaped by 16 years of experience in the Ontario Public Service, where I worked in Human Rights advocacy, as well as my current role as a hospital social worker. I work with adults across the lifespan from diverse cultural, ethnic, religious, & linguistic backgrounds, including refugees, newcomers to Canada, & members of the LGBTQIA+ community. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing culturally responsive, inclusive, & respectful care.

Beginning therapy is an important step, & finding the right therapist matters. I invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation so we can discuss your concerns, answer your questions, & determine how we can work together. Together, we can build the tools & resilience you need to navigate life’s challenges & create meaningful, lasting change.

I provide in-person and confidential online sessions through a secure video link.
