(he/him – they/them pronouns)
The first step to a great therapeutic relationship is connection. I offer years of experience in the field but, most importantly, I provide a welcoming, anti oppressive approach to therapy in combination with attentive listening, judgment free and open mindedness. My goal is to support you on your journey and provide all the tools I have obtained through my own professional and personal journey.
My clinical work is rooted in narrative therapy, which I provide in combination with DBT skills learning techniques. I am an educator in Toronto and have worked as a clinical counsellor/social worker in different organizations, supporting folks experiencing fear, anxiety, depression, facing stigma, marginalization, mental health and addiction struggles.
If you are looking for a welcoming and warm therapist, who creates a safe space for you, feel free to contact me when you are ready.
I use an anti-oppressive framework to therapy through my social work lens, which is:
- Client-based
- Trauma-informed
- Strengths-based
- Solution-focused
Both my professional and personal journeys have informed my practice and community work.
I combine extensive experience in the field of social work with a career as a post secondary educator. I identify as a Trans Masculine Latinx and use he/they pronouns.
