Hi/Namaste,
Maybe you’ve been holding it together for so long that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to rest. Your mind won’t slow down at night. Small decisions feel exhausting. You keep telling yourself you should be able to handle this, yet you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next. As a therapist for anxiety and stress, I help adults who are tired of carrying it all alone. Think of therapy as the moment you finally putdown the heavy backpack.
Perhaps a loss, a breakup, a career shift, or a move has left you feeling lost, like the life you planned no longer fits. Therapy for grief and life changes gives you room to make sense of what’s changed without rushing to “get over it.” Or maybe the hardest voice is the one inside your own head: the one that second-guesses every choice, compares you to everyone else, and quietly tells you you’re not enough. Through therapy for low self-esteem and self-doubt, we can explore where those beliefs came from and loosen their grip.
The ways you’ve learned to cope made sense once. They protected you. But if they’re no longer working, it’s not a sign that something is wrong with you. It’s a sign you’re ready for something different. You are more than your struggles, and you don’t have to figure this out on your own.
My Approach
I offer a supportive, collaborative space where we explore your thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns without judgment. Together, we work toward understanding how your experiences shape your reactions, helping you cultivate self‑compassion, reconnect with your values, and respond to challenges with greater intention. My approach is trauma‑informed and anti‑oppressive, integrating Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness‑based interventions.
I work with adults navigating:
● Stress and work‑life balance
● Anxiety and overwhelm
● Depression and isolation
● Shame and low self‑esteem
● Relational challenges
● Loss and grief
● Life transitions
● Emotional Regulation
● Trauma
In my free time, I turn toward the practices that ground me as both a therapist and a yoga teacher; breathwork that reminds me to slow down, kirtans that open my heart, and nature that reminds me I’m part of something larger. I also make perfectly imperfect art, the kind that fills me with wonder as I ask myself what on earth did I create?
