Self-Regulation Tools for Resilience: Holiday Edition

There is so much additional stress layered on at this time of year. While you can’t ditch the stress you can be more resilient to it. And, you can do this by drawing on your own ability to self regulate, AKA self-soothe. In this workshop you will discover simple body based self-regulation tools and practices to improve your ability to stay grounded and calm in your own body while resourcing your friends and family to do the same.
 
You will experience first hand how these tools and practices can help you:
  • Be more aware of your needs
  • Take good, consistent care of yourself
  • Know when you are triggered by the past and learn to reoriente to the present moment
  • Be more responsive to stressful situations and triggers as opposed to reacting to them
  • Connect to your calm strength and resilience so you can anchor others
  • Improve your ability to make decisions

$30 to register and space is limited. Teens are welcome.
