Vivacious Valentine – A chocolate-themed belly dance workshop for more Bliss

Join Shaila Khan to melt away the icy cold and connect with your most succulent self this Valentine's Day Weekend. This decadent belly dance practice creates a space for you to celebrate your scrumptious self through wild shimmies, flirty belly dance technique and indulging in nourishing chocolate. Appreciate the sweetness of your vibrant being through this dance practice focused on connecting you to soothing warm rhythms and wave-work to keep you deliciously gooey throughout the frosty season.

In this workshop you will:

• Learn to boost your serotonin and endorphins through wild shimmies and gooey wave work
• Engage in sensual and flirty belly dance techniques that celebrate your most vibrant being
•Learn how pleasure and joyous expression is both healing and regulating for our nervous system
...Also each guest will get to nibble on a few pieces of artisan chocolate provided.
Date: Saturday Feb 16
Duration: 1.5 hours

Notes to Prepare:

1 - Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class to sign the waiver and change etc.Bring a water bottle.
2 - We encourage guests to wear comfortable clothing for movement or clothes that allow them to feel their most sparkliest!
3 - Shoes will not be worn indoors. Hip scarves and veils and props are provided.

A note about Inclusivity :
This workshop is an exploration and celebration of the body. Belly Dance is a community practice that empowers individuals to experience the pleasure of connecting and honouring their sensual being, therefore this space does not use mirrors. It is open to all bodies and gender-expression regardless of dance experiences. If there are any additional accessibility needs please contact the facilitator.
